Frequently Asked Questions

 

1. What happens in a session?
Each session is a serene and sacred time for you to slow down, breathe, and connect with yourself. I often get a sense of the emotional state of a client before a session begins, so we start there and flow as the questions you provide lead through the energy signature they hold.

2. What questions can I ask?

Questions always need to be focused on you as the client, not other people. My observation is source takes us to the energy in a question to see what sits behind the words and through me DOES NOT make predictions or heal physical sicknesses. Take some time and work on identifying questions that will enable you to further understand something that might be worrying you or perplexing you or interest you.... to open you up to understanding yourself and the fuller potentials of your life....  

 

3. How will I feel afterward?
Many people feel calm, clear, or lighter after a session. Some feel more emotional or reflective. Others simply feel more at ease in their body and mind. Everyone is different — whatever you feel is what is relevant for you.  The deeper meanings, clarity and awareness of a different way you can be in the world continue to unfold over the following days, weeks and months.  There are very often tools for the journey too. 

 

4. Do I need to prepare in any way?
As you have chosen a session for yourself, I suggest honouring that through providing yourself with the quiet time relax before the session, for time during the session and time afterwards for contemplation and rest. Hydration, somewhere comfortable to sit or lie down and being open to the process are all great ways to support yourself.

 

5. How do I know if this is right for me?
You don’t need to have the perfect words for it — you will just know.  It won't feel forced.  There will be a wanting to explore something new for your deeper sense of understanding.

 

6. I’ve never done anything like this before — is that okay?
Absolutely. You don’t need to have any background in healing or self-development. Many clients come in simply looking for clarity, peace, or support through a life transition. This is a welcoming space, and everything will be explained in a simple, comfortable way.

 

7. Is this like therapy or counseling?
While a session can often be a healing and transformative experience, this is not therapy or mental health counselling. It’s a different kind of support — quieter, intuitive, and centered on helping you reconnect with your inner world and your own knowing.

 

8. What kinds of things can this help with?
People choose a session for many reasons — feeling stuck, anxious, low energy, emotional heaviness, major life changes, or just needing space to reset and review. While everyone’s experience is different, the intention is always to help you feel more centered, present, and connected to your journey as the creator of it, to feel empowered and more expansive.  A session can offer you a sense of awareness you may not have experienced before.

 

9. Will I have to talk about my personal issues?
Only if you want to. Some people like to share what's going on in their life; others prefer to experience the session quietly. Either way is welcome, and you’ll never be asked to share more than you’re comfortable with.  The goal is not fixing you, it is more focused on bringing you into a deeper presence and awareness of self.  All the parts of you are a part of your wholeness and I honour that.

 

10. What should I do after the session?
It’s helpful to take it easy if you can, energy work on the surface can feel gentle, but its impacts are potent and run deeply. Hydrate, give yourself some stillness and space to notice how you feel — and respond to your needs accordingly, this is what you are now beginning to master. You might want to reflect in some way, journal or take a walk. Give yourself a little space to absorb the session, even if you’re not sure what “happened.”  Sometimes people can feel wiped out a day or two later, this could be energies settling into place, just have the awareness and allow.

 

11. What if I feel emotional during the session?
That’s completely okay. Sometimes when we slow down and feel safe, emotions we've been holding in have a chance to come up and be released. It’s part of the process, and you’ll be supported through it with respect and compassion.  I have had these moments too, once I sat down to do some yoga and just sitting and starting deep breathing was all it took for emotions to surface.

 

12. Will I feel something during the session?
Some don’t feel much during the session, but notice changes afterward — like improved sleep, clearer thinking, or a sense of peace, balance. Other people notice physical sensations like warmth, tingling, or a sense of lightness. There’s no “right” way to experience it, just your way.

 

13. How many sessions will I need?
I do recommend just having one session, without the pressure for more.  I am finding that these days a lot is delivered to contemplate and integrate at a soul level and at a physical level.  There needs to be time after a session to experience your life through your newness, a bit like trying on a new outfit and walking around in it.  Give yourself space to grow into and fully embody what you receive for a while.  It’s always your choice.
